The patent has been granted in Singapore.

The U.S. Patent Office has allowed two patents covering co-administration and co-formulation of betahistine with olanzapine for mitigation of the anti-psychotic drug-induced weight gain.

Obecure also has an exclusive world-wide license to develop and use intellectual property assigned to Grunenthal-Italy SPA, covering extended release formulations of betahistine.
