Yaffa Beck D.Sc. - Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Beck has held drug development and management positions in the biotechnology industry in Israel since the early 1980’s. Prior to joining Obecure, she was CEO of BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics, COO of Collgard Biopharmaceuticals, COO of D-Pharm, Head of Business development in Orgenics and Head of Scientific Development in Biotechnology General Israel. She currently serves as Director in several biotechnology companies and on advisory committees of the Chief Scientist Office of the Israel Ministry of Trade and Industry. Her international background includes undergraduate studies at Princeton University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, graduate studies at the Weizmann Institute of Science and the University of Pretoria, Republic of South Africa and advanced business training at Bradford University, UK.

Dr. Nir Barak M.D. - Chief Scientific Officer Dr Barak is a graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and has specialized and practiced in internal medicine. Dr Barak also trained in clinical nutrition at the University of Chicago Hospital and earned a Certified Nutrition Support Physician (CNSP) degree from the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. Dr Barak worked as an attending physician in Rabin Medical Center, heading the Fatty Liver Unit. He serves as a member in the Israeli Society of Internal Medicine, the Israeli Society of Clinical Nutrition and the Israeli Society for Obesity Research and has co-authored the Israeli guidelines for Total Parenteral Nutrition, Percutaneous Feeding Gastrectomy, and Re-feeding Syndrome.

Mr. Richard Naimer LL.B. - Chief Operating Officer, Director
Mr. Naimer is a founder and general partner of Bio-Light Israel Life Science Investments Ltd. A graduate of the Bar Ilan University Law School , Mr. Naimer was admitted to the Israeli Bar Association in 1992. Richard joined the Firm of Granot & Co. as a junior associate and thereafter joined the firm as a full partner, subsequently heading the firm's International and Venture Capital Department. In this context Richard specialized in venture capital investments, taxation and representation of start up companies in the fields of information technology and biotechnology. Richard also serves as the Israeli representative of Eurohypo, one of the leading European mortgage banks.

Dr. Ami Eyal M.D.- Clinical Director, Director
Dr. Eyal is a founder and general partner of Bio-Light Israel Life Science Investments Ltd. Dr. Eyal has focused his career on life sciences entrepreneurship and investments. Among the companies in which he has invested in and co-founded are Can-Fite, Spectrum Dynamics, Raphael Medical, C-Beyond Bio Medical Strategy and others. A graduate of the Tel Aviv University Medical School, Dr. Eyal specialized in general surgery and serves in the emergency unit of the Sourasky Medical Center. He also serves in the IDF Air Force reserves as a pilot and senior medical officer.

Dr. Gal Ehrlich Ph.D. LL.B. - Director of Intellectual Property, Director
Dr. Ehrlich is a founder and general partner of Bio-Light Israel Life Science Investments Ltd. Dr. Ehrlich is recognized as the owner of one of the leading and fastest growing intellectual property firm in Israel - Ehrlich & Fenster. Trained in molecular biology, Dr. Ehrlich holds a Ph.D from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a law degree from Tel Aviv University . Since 1994, Dr. Ehrlich has been involved in preparing patent applications in a wide range of industries, mainly in the biotechnology field but also in pharmaceuticals, medical devices. agrotech and hi-tech.
